Tech-hungama audience, yes you heard it right even the best smartphone os is prone to a vulnerability that can cause harm to users. recently a group of university students has discovered a loop hole in the recant firmware updates of ice-cream sandwich, jelly bean etc.
This loop basically access your personal information such as your contact list and you receive messages claiming your personal information such as bank account numbers email and other financial or personal information. Some people of in Puerto Rico incredulous that send secure information without any Precautions.
This reason behind could be because of installing untrusted apps on our android smartphones. When you install such stuff it ask for permission to access your services provided by the firmware and also a bunch of permissions and then it takes control of your system your contacts and other such facilities to send sms n emails from a contact stating your relative. So beware of such untrusted apps.
This loophole evidence is been shared only between the university students and the Google developers. The only precaution we can take is to avoid installing untrusted applications without any information about what it does.
